Gardenia-scented tea is one of the key product directions for Yiyaoxin Tea. The supply chain includes a self-owned gardenia flower base of about 2,500 mu and annual gardenia tea supply capacity of about 4,000 tons.
Fresh flower timing is important. In the production model summarized from company materials, gardenia flowers are arranged to arrive quickly after picking, and scenting can use a tea-to-flower ratio around 1:0.5 with multiple scenting rounds depending on the target aroma.
This structure helps international buyers develop gardenia green tea, gardenia oolong and other floral tea bases for new-style tea drinks, retail packs and private label projects.
